Friends?

WordPress is not my friend. I would very much like it to be my friend. JQuery Mobile wants to be my friend. Why can't we all play together nicely?

I need food. And caffeine. Boo.

Update...

Had a lovely vegan meal with my cousin and talked about nothing related to code whatsoever. And it was good brother.

Here's the deal:

I gave up on the write-my-own-theme theme last night and went back to an old generic JQuery Mobile template and tried to alter it today, all day. Problem is, everything I did broke some major part of the site. I think much of the problem stemmed from calling an older version of JQM. Still, it was problem after problem after problem (esp. wp_footer). So, I've decided to start with a clean slate and write a custom JQM theme, from scratch, armed with the knowledge gained from mangling the previous two themes.

I'm hoping that it won't be a repeat of banging my head against a WordPress wall again.

And, yes, it is 10:15pm on a holiday weekend's Saturday night, but I've got energy (which is unusual) and motivation (surprisingly right now), so I'm taking advantage while I can.
